Rathore mansion:
Author's POV:
The sun had just risen, painting the sky in soft pastels. The wind played gently with the sheer white curtains, and the faint hum of birds filled the air, welcoming a new day.
She was already awake.
The first daughter-in-law of the Rathore family,
Meera, stirred in bed. Her long lashes fluttered open, and instinctively, her eyes shifted to the right side of the bed — empty.
A soft sigh escaped her lips.
Of course, he wasn’t there and thanks to god.
She already knew where he’d be.
Brushing it off, she carried on with her morning routine — calm, graceful, collected. She draped herself in a pastel green saree, lightly dusted with shimmer, complimented by minimal makeup, simple long earrings, and a small pendant that rested delicately on her collarbone. Her long hair flowed freely down her back like a midnight river.
Just as she reached for the doorknob to step outside—
BAM!
The door flung open with a jolt, slamming against the wall. Meera gasped, nearly losing her balance.
But before she could hit the ground, two strong arms wrapped around her waist — firm, familiar.
Her breath caught.
Eyes met eyes.
For a second, the world paused.
There he stood — Abhiraj — in his gym attire, drenched in sweat, water dripping from his dark hair. His grip was firm, his eyes unreadable.
But Meera snapped out of it. She shoved him back — hard enough to make Abhiraj stumble.
His jaw clenched.
He glared at her with those sharp, stormy eyes — but she remained calm. Cool. Unbothered.
As she tried to walk past him and head downstairs, he stood blocking the doorway — arms folded.
She moved left.
He moved left.
She moved right.
He moved right.
She let out a deep, frustrated sigh.
In that tiny moment of hesitation, Abhiraj took full advantage — grabbing her waist and pulling her back inside the room, shutting the door behind them.
"Don't you have manners, huh?!" Meera snapped, her voice sharp.
"First you barge in and then come so close like an alien— you idiot!"
Abhiraj scoffed. “Listen to me very clearly. This is my room. I’ll come and go whenever I want. And FYI — you were falling, I just helped you.”
“I don’t need your help!” Meera snapped back.
“And remember — you married me, so it’s not just your room. It’s our room. Now, move aside.”
A slow smirk crept across his face.
“Oh... so you finally remembered you’re married? Good. Then don’t forget how I married you.”
His words were heavy. Taunting. Sharp like knives.
Meera’s face fell.
She looked away, holding back the emotions that threatened to surface.
But her voice didn’t tremble when she said, “Yes, I remember. Now excuse me... Mom must be waiting.”
Abhiraj ignored her sentence and said,
“If you remember all this then why show this attitude to me.huh!”
He said by closing the distance between them one step at a time.
“I am not someone to handle attitudes but you know the worst part of this, I will love to handle your attitude, your anger, Sweetheart”
He said with a smirk.
Meera looked him surprisingly but looked away instantly with her hands clenched into her saree.
“Go sweetheart,go ahead my mom must be waiting.”
He stepped aside. Just slightly.
But as she passed him, he leaned in close and whispered darkly,
“Remember. How. I. Married. You. Meera.”
His deep, commanding voice crawled down her spine like electricity.
She walked out, ignoring the ache in her heart... trying to pretend those words meant nothing. But how could she forget?
How could she forget the truth that haunted her every second since the night of their wedding?
Three days ago.
She can't forget how he married her at the gunpoint of those lives who doesn't have anyone.
One mistake, only one mistake, only one glimpse and that haunting moment has led her towards this hell.

Teaser:
Vinay was running for his life — literally.
Why?
Because Riddhima just found out who finished her secret chocolate stash...
and Vinay, being the “innocent” younger Rathore, blamed the dog.
Bad move.
Very bad move.
“RIDDHIMA STOP! IT WAS JUST A DAIRY MILK!”
“AND THIS IS JUST A CHAPPAL, VINAY!”
One stolen chocolate.
Two broken plates.
And a full Rathore mansion watching the chase like it’s a daily soap.
